Florence & Her Many Treasures
No matter how much work needs to be done during your trip to this magical city, it would be sinful not to visit Florence’s historical centre and take many treasures for a day. Dubbed ‘the cradle of the renaissance’, the city dates back to pre-Roman times and was once the centre of the known world in terms of art, wealth and of course, power. The minute historical centre can be absorbed in a day at a fast pace, during which time you can squeeze in the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio.
